For many “mole carriers” a mole can be irritating and unappealing skin blemish. It causes discomfort when rubbing against the clothes or it just looks ugly, overshadowing the natural beauty of the skin. No wonder that people are searching for effective ways of removing moles, which would erase them once and for all. Some of these ways are related with medical intervention and at the end may appear to be worthwhile. However, there might be more worthwhile methods which are easier to use, don’t require much money and can be controlled by a person who applies them. For a mole removal, it’s the method of using home remedies, which has all of the described features.
One of the possible home remedies for a mole removal is potatoes. In fact, potatoes are widely known for their healing abilities when treating stomach disorders and skin injuries. These vegetables contain potassium, sulphur, phosphorus and chlorine – elements which assist in removing moles and skin blemishes. Moreover, enzymes and vitamin C, which are in raw potato, feed cellular tissue of the skin, so applying this method will definitely have positive effect. The main requirement is to use raw potato because cooked vegetable lacks all the useful elements.
There are a few ways of removing moles with a potato. The first one involves cutting potato into slices and simply covering the mole with one slice. The second way is to grate the potato and apply the puree mass on the mole. The idea behind this is that the puree releases potato juice faster than solid slice. And the last possible way is to cover a mole with potato peelings, because upper layers of the potato are richer with useful elements mentioned earlier. In all cases, the potato slices or puree must be kept on a mole for at least five minutes. After the potato is removed, its juice should be left to dry on the skin to prolong the healing effect. When using the potato peels, they should be peeled off with some pulp so it could give off potato juice. The application should be repeated 2-3 times each day till the results become visible.
Which of these three methods to use is each person’s choice and they can be interchanged during the treatment period. Of course, after cutting all the peels of a potato, it would be silly to throw it away into trash if it’s not going to be cooked. That’s why it is a good idea to continue applying potato slices or grated potato on a mole instead of peels. Removing moles with a potato can take different amounts of time depending on a size, color depth of the moles and skin type. Sometimes noticeable results can occur after two weeks and sometimes complete mole removal can take up to two months. This period of time can sound excessively long, however it’s worth trying because it costs pennies and is beneficial to the skin anyway.
Mole removal with a potato is just a small example of many possible ways how a mole can be easily removed using home remedies.
