Whenever someone mentions the word jacket, we will imagine it in the colors of black and blue; but not anymore. Today, human clothing has progressed to a level that it has become an entity unto itself. Clothing is rampant with colors and designs. Now, any one article is not restricted to a certain design or color. Innovation has become second nature to the fashion industry and clothes are being altered, stylized, and redone all the time. The motto is ‘the more different, the better’. Because different means being unique and fashion is all about making people stand out. Take for instance, a blue leather jacket.
Designing a jacket in blue was a very novel thing once. But now, we have so many jackets in so many shades. The navy blue leather jacket is a particular favorite of mine. This is a beautiful shade of blue; neither too bright, nor too dull. It is just perfect. Both genders can wear it- even those men that think wearing pink is a thing for girls and women. This shade is gender wise neutral. Moreover, since it is not an outlandish color, its naturally soothing shade is perfect for a garment like jacket. This is because jackets are an outer-wear and thus a blue leather jacket will beautifully combine all the colors of one’s outfit and not be unflattering to any particular color. It will blend the outfit well. The navy blue leather jacket is consequently, rather popular.
But like with all colors, there are certain rules to be followed. Black is a tricky color to be worn with this shade of blue because both are colors and can end up giving a dull look. Accessorizing carefully, for instance, a navy blue dress with a black shawl, will help ensure the entire ensemble does not end up being dull. One of the most famous colors that will go with a blue leather jacket is white. A white dress combined with this jacket will be absolutely beautiful. The navy blue leather jacket meanwhile, reminds us of school times when our winter wear was in this color- well, either this or grey. But exploiting that look, people have recreated that school look but this time, for adults. The color combination had always worked. But now, taking what had once been an abhorred outfit, stylists converted that school uniform into a stylish and chic look for adults. As for the combination of white and blue, well sailors had already proven that color combination as beautiful to the world. In fact, dresses in the sailor style were made because that outfit was so aesthetically pleasing.
The blue leather jacket is beautiful, yes. But it cannot hold a candle to the navy blue leather jacket. After all, the primary purpose of the jacket is to protect the wearer from the cold. But the secondary purpose is to bring together the entire outfit. And the navy blue color is just the right color to do that.
